Privacy Policy

We collect the following information when you use ValidateIt:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Idea content — the startup ideas, problems, solutions, and validation responses you submit to the platform.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and tool outputs generated.
• Payment data — transaction identifiers from Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or banking details directly.
• Communications — emails you send to us or email content sent via Resend on your behalf.

We use your data solely to provide and improve the ValidateIt service:

• To create and manage your account.
• To display your submitted ideas in the community and generate validation reports.
• To process payments and manage your subscription plan.
• To send transactional emails (expert review confirmations, weekly digests, notifications).
• To improve platform features based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

ValidateIt uses the following trusted third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data may be stored on servers globally, including the EU.
• Razorpay — payment processing for Indian users. Governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Only your email address and relevant content are shared.
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions. Traffic may be routed through global edge nodes.

Your data is stored using Supabase, which uses globally distributed infrastructure. While the primary region may be outside India, Supabase complies with GDPR and similar international data protection standards.

Uploaded images (blog covers) are stored in Supabase Storage with public access for display purposes.

As a ValidateIt user, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
• Data export — request an export of your submitted ideas and tool outputs.
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from any marketing or digest emails at any time.

ValidateIt uses session cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase Auth). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
